Guys I don't know how one could think that a sub-5" phone could have Full-HD (1920x1080) resolution. Even with 720p you almost can't see the pixels. Even if the technology allowed this, I think it would be a nonsense to put a Full-HD screen into the phone. Waste of money (=higher price) and battery power.

And the only thing i dislike is iphone like look. Samsung has to realize that everyone dont want iphone. if so they we can go for iphone. they should try something new and different like Xperia s....:)

Same as expected. Everyone has to realize that a phone is a phone. Specs are made to work. Not according to wish. Great work by Samsung.
and they made a phone having full HD, 2 gb ram and all bla bla bla.....they what samsung have to do for next 5 years...:P

If it will come with that crappy TW it will be a semi-fail..i just don't get it why samsung keeps throwing at us that ****..why not hire a 3rd party designer to do their UI?There are launchers on market way better than TW, even more optimized
..it should have at least 1.5gb ram...but it won't...why?because the next model won't have much to add, so it's all marketing..also, the full hd screeen, not so practical.720p is more than enough.
The battery should have at least 2200mAh.This is very important for the authonomy..the quad-core cpu..it's in trend, but i don't know if there will be any apps using 4 cores(there aren't many on pc, on mobile, less chances).
12 mpx camera, that will be the main hit.
Sammy should focus on optimizing the OS,should give users the possibility to choose what they want on the phone(ex. remove all crappy apps).
But i guess none of this will happen.As usual, S III will be just a litle better than the competition and SII.A small, but noticeable improvement, just to make us upgrade and pay some good money, keep the phone for about 12-18 months, then, upgrade again for some future model.They call it marketing, i call it rip off.Just my 2 cents

Why so bigger screen?
4,7" is much big, for me 4,3" of S2 is good size, more then it, the use is bad to use with only one hand.

when u get rid of the dark basel arround the phone u clearly see a IPHONE 4 design..
i am not a apple fanboy.. samsung needs to hire a real designer like sony does, come up with some original sammsung... dont just copy paste...'
the specs are not that impreesed either besides for teh 60 fps function en hd amoled...

Not good specs. Battery too small. Minimum should be 2000, better to be 2500 or above.
Don't care about dual core or quad core. GPU should be good. Make it 4.5 inch HD display. Beyond that is not very good. You already have Note for those who want bigger display.
