Anonymous, 10 Nov 2019say like they cant have your face dataLol yeah. Face tracking is only useful for tracking you EVERYWHERE. Literally EVERY FRIGGING WHERE.
Apple cares about your privacy in the sense they want to keep track of your private life 24/7, no matter if you bring your phone or not.

The poll options made choices very twisted! My iPhone 11 FaceID is really convenient while it is dysfunctional while riding bikes with helmet looking for maps. For Fingerprint readers, gloves will be an obstacle! But my Mate 20 Pro has both and works very well!

FaceID is why I still have iPhone 7+ and not iPhone 11. Huawei and Xiaomi lust is gonna convert me back.

Tooluka, 10 Nov 2019Personally I can say that S10+ with in-display fingerprint ... moreS10 and Note10 has by far the worst in display fp scanners, the ones on the OnePlus 7Pro,7T,7T Pro and Realme X2 Pro are much better.. Even Xiaomi's Mi 9T and Mi9T pro have better fp scanners than the s10 and note10

If many people own such phone with secure face recognition like Apple and Huawei then the result of the poll would be different. But since you yourself wanting to see people owning such phone to vote on it, that create a paradox. Why do you think not many people own that face recognition capable phone in the first place? Because they don't want it and don't buy it, thus the result is like that. Duhh.

I'm yet to see a Google phone that isn't underwhelming hardware-wise.
The king of Android being overrun by others like Samsung and Huawei on so many levels, from features to price.
It's sad but it's much better deal to buy an iPhone11 Pro than Pixel 4.

Personally I can say that S10+ with in-display fingerprint reader will be my last phone with such tech. It is complete garbage, read rate is abysmal, sometimes I can't login in 5 tries and have to input pin. I removed all screen protectors, re-scanned fingers twice after that, I tried different fingers from both hands and I have all biometrics related updates (there were 3 or 4 already, since spring). It is still garbage.
PS: old-style readers work perfectly for me, including oneplus 3t, samsung a8, samsung s9 and ipad 7. Read rate on all of them is close to 100%.

As someone who has used a front-mounted fingerprint sensor on Xiaomi Mi 5 and currently using an iPhone XR with Face ID, I don't miss the fingerprint sensor that much. The in-display fingerprint sensor is a different thing for me as I've never tried it. I kinda find the fingerprint sensor more preferable when compared to Face ID because it's annoying when the phone unlocks every time I view the screen to know the time. Also, sometimes when I've to unlock the phone without lifting it up I literally have to bring my face towards the front of the phone which is uncomfortable.
