Samsung Galaxy S11 tipped to come in three sizes and five variants in total, depending on 5G

09 November 2019
There will probably be no flat display option in Samsung's next mainstream flagship family.

I like the curved scren , but i buyed s10e for his size and specs. s10e is the first phone i buyed new from store in years . Finaly they made a compact phone , that you could use it . Make S11 6.7 and s11 plus even 8 inch , i don t care , but at least let people who want smaller smartphone have something for them .
I did not buy s10e because is cheaper than s10 , i would not trade my s10e for a s10 or s10 plus never , because they are to big .

Whats the issue with releasing a compact phone?. 5-5.5" size with decent specs..

chester, 10 Nov 2019S11...optional 5G... Lol...5G will be a must for all OEM... morewhile some countries have 5G widely available, others have limited access and will be this way for some time. in 2020/21 4g handsets will still be a viable option as no one is going to switch off 4g just because 5g is available. if its cheaper that the 5g option it will sell.

huh, 09 Nov 2019No clue why you didged the v30. My plan is to use it 5 more... moreLooking back,no idea why i got rid of the v30 as it was a more impressive phone. I did get the note 10 free from work, its the only explanation. Having said that, the note 10 cameras are better (main) or much better (selfie),enough to justify it. But thats about it.

Love the Community, 10 Nov 2019Most smartphones have a 2 year planned obsolescence. Don't ... moreNot having latest android does not make any phone obsolete.
They still work and do everything pretty well.
You find many people with phones bought even 7 years ago.

Except North Korea (no Samsung there) and Japan (no kore than 1%) Samsung has strong sales everywhere. There are many countries 5G wont be working any soon. It is pointless to bring a more expensive device if people cant take advantage of 5G.

Samsung is not the only brand that is going to do it in 2020.

Thank goodness. I'm glad to have just recently upgraded from my trusty Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 128GB to the S10e. My main consideration with Sammy's flagships is a flat screen. I hated the edge screens. And I'm so happy to have one now.

Come on, Samsung. Not even 1 model with a flat screen? I am a long time Galaxy user, but I almost went to competitors when S10 launched. I learned about which had a S10e a flat screen and so I bought it and I love it. I'm so sick of this curved screen fad (absolutely hated S8 curved screen). It's impractical and makes user experience horrible.

There is a reason why Apple doesn't do this curved screen fad (even though they easily could). Apple cares about usability and productivity.
