I have watched numerous videos with the same topic or subject that has less view but stupendous content quality than the one with millions of views but really annoyed the hell out of me with all those meme faces and crap screaming.

Not only that but other social networks and YouTube as well. Also YouTube should also hide the number of views. For some reasons people equal likes/views to something really good and that leads to utter abominations in terms of quality/content/ingenuity/creativity/intelligence to be popular.

"Influencers" and social climbers are gonna die now that no one will know the number of likes in their posts. The days when number of likes equates to popularity has finally. Thank goodness.

People will be less inclined to press the "like" button if the number of likes are not visible. It's a monkey-see-monkey-do mentality. People drop off the platform because they do not get as many likes as before and influencers also drop off because potential business partners cannot see their like count. I foresee a drop in user engagement and the eventual death of Instagram.
