Dont just talk n compare with G S III.. u still dont know that phone specs 100%.. After this when HTC or nokia make phone more batter than G S III.. That time u will talk n compare with medium specs phone.. Like u take ferrari car n compare with Hyundai.. they have own tech n skill.. n also when the phone created i will take a some money amount.. n that amount also make a different.. so better u make a dicison what is affordable for amount u give to dealer any phone before buy.. Dont just talk about compare with their spec but forget about the price..

@trueno its P25900. Got mine for more than 2 weeks now and i love my xperia s. Amazing screen detail and it`s fast. Also i havent seen any feedback yet about the earphones - they rock! Awesome sound that complements the hd screen when watching movies and its also great for music. Definitely no regrets and cant wait to have it runnning on ICS by Q2. Cheers!

                    LOL

There's a lot of people screaming "why do we need quad-core... we don't NEED it!!!"

You're missing the point... Firstly what they're showing is that having a quad-core is actually much more battery-efficient, especially those (like HTC, etc.) that contain the smaller core for basic tasks, the other cores only kicking in when needed... For this reason alone it's worth having if nothing else...

Also, when was technology advancement about 'NEED' - if we took this attitude across the board, how on earth would any handset or technology advance?!? This kind of advancement leads to other breakthroughs we haven't even thought about yet! It's really narrow-minded to base your argument on stifling technology just to suit loyalty to a particular manufacturer...

                    HOWEVER

Another practical point to getting a quad-core phone NOW is that you're effectively FUTURE-PROOFING yourself.. Most phone contracts these days are 18-24 months - ask yourself the question, would you like to get a phone that is good today, but very average in 12 months time, or one that you may think is excessive now, but a year down the line is still holding its own...

The same argument could have been made last year with the GS2 - who needs dual core?!? But look how well it has lasted - still standing toe-to-toe with the likes of the Xperia S a year on...

Broaden your minds people, stop being so blindly loyal to massive companies that are only interested in your money... Think for yourselves... It's amazing the choice you suddenly have when you stop criticising manufacturers just for the sake of it and start thinking about what you actually want regardless of the operating system / manufacturer...

                    ;)

GS3 will b a beast in specs. And it won't b available 4 diz price. And sony fans dont want battery eating extra cores. Diz is more than enough til thy optimize android 4 quad cores.

so they better increase the ram. Nt da numbr of cores. I dnt thnk dat apps wil b optimisd 4 quad cores sooner. Bcz quad core phones r rare, and few ppl cn afford to buy thz phones and most of android users r using single cores and dual cores. And thz quad core phones dnt hv enough memory 2 run apps dat wil require quad core.

sony have to release this now before samsung galaxy s3 came out coz when that does happen, no one will buy sony but will go for galaxy s3 since it will be faster and much better. and since sony phone are almost always more expensive than others, galaxy s3 might actually be cheaper or at least at same price as this phone.

main_shoby, 22 Mar 2012@radeon, thats exactly what i wanted to say :/ we dont nee... morei lik to tel u abt the android smart phones dese days.. its not lik wt u said.. every year..new nd new softwares nd applications wich need more procesing power nd internal ram.. curently dual core serves the purpose for multi tasking.. curent android games level is gud for dual core.. android is growing lik windows pc but cant be compared bcos do anyone kno android running ddr2,ddr3 or 800mhz or somthn lik dat?? no.. 1ghz phone nd 1ghz computer is very different.. so nwadays thousands of memory eating apps r created. its lik a user who uses most apps doesnt find even dual core phone enough...so u can guess how it wil b goin up nd up.. dual core phones r having 1gb ram nw.. if a quadcore is der it shud b atleast 1.5 or 2gb ram atleast.. htc one s is very early nd foolish.. bcos wen apps dat require quadcore performs is created in future it wil certainly need more dan 1gb ram.. i hope u understand.. how it is goin on.. ..thanx..

and who wants to play crysis 3 in a mobile phone ???? Seriously ??? If some one wants to play games with groundbreaking graphics he should buy a PS or Xbox or get an Nvidia kepler series graphics card for his PC. Not a mobile phone.
