This happened to us. I make over twice what my husband does and have all of my credit paid off with no derogatory accounts and a longer history. In fact, I've been helping him pay down his credit cards. They accepted his application while denying mine.

Nothing against Apple, we all know how the women acts with their credit cards, everything is normal here :)

This is such a non story. Are there any bias in the system? I am sure there are, but to think GS is doing anything differently than what all banks that issues credit do is crazy. This is a story only because Apple is involved. Besides, that guy who made the complain about gender bias conveniently left out that the wife is a stay at home mom. Since Apple card does not offer a join credit account yet it made sense the system did what it did. Her risk factor was a lot higher since she does not have an income of her own.
