Wow........great news for me. I hope this will be true. 3.5 screen is the reason why i don wanna buy Iphone. But now, with 4.6, I'll throw my Samsung S2 away. Pls make it true! 4.6 is awesome foe every aspect.

This might be true. Samsung is supplying most of the chips in an iphone. As the contract will be expired by the end of this year, i dont see why iphone should not be released in Q2.(Its a tip-off from me.) Let's push it back to june. 6 months to december and apple need to produce enough iphone to meet the demand of the whole world. It might sounds sceptical but it could be possible that the production line could be starting soon. With the on-going, never ending patent war raging on, its folly for samsung to continue its partnership with apple but anything is possible as long its profitable for both sides. Its not my 2 cents on the contract or neither i am defending this claim/ article. The screen size is interesting but we shall see. Q2 seems possible.

actually, i got doubts on whether apple will actually change the appearance of the iphone that is beyond the appearance of the previous generations of iphones, apple always stick to their classy look since day one,..... but even if they did change the iphone, well it's up to them how will they make it a hit in the market,... and i'm actually looking forward to seeing what will happen next

To be clear, there are TWO issues:
1. Screen size
2. Phone size.
I believe that Apple may increase the SCREEN SIZE, as long as measurement wise, the PHONE SIZE remains roughly the same. A bigger screen, on a phone roughly the size of the current iPhone, will mean that one handed operation remains feasible.
At the end of the day, usability and customer experience, are the driving force behind Apple designs. As long as these hold, I see no problem with a larger screen iPhone.

I will follow your frrdback .My phone is everything for me that is the only device which is daily more than 8 hours with me, actually that is my best accompany, so it should be at least 4 to4.5” light device that could be used as a phone, media player, video player, GPS, Gaming system, Internet browser, Map and even some times reading books or news

Why would you call it the iPhone 5? It's the 6th phone they release and it's not even consistent with the way they named the other phones...

The apple update cycle is every 12-16 months. Do not EVER expect to see a said product released sooner than that. It has never happened and it NEVER will!
Just because other companies tend to release products whenever they can it doesn't mean that apple will.
Analysts don't seem to get this for some reason and their uninformed predictions keep coming time after time.
This goes to show people just how professional tech analysts really are... phhh! IDIOTS!

So they're now responding to the flow. They're now listening to people's demand of 4" minimum screen size.
