Man, you can't be serious. You can't compare the HTC shift to an N95. What makes the N95 so adavanced is that it has a buttload of features in a small package; the Shift is NOT a small package. Oh, and by the way buddy ,didya know the Shift's not even a phone? Better keep trying comparing apples to oranges ;)

''htc shift is no where near as good as this phone. not with a 1.2mp camera or a lack of gps. no where near''

you are wrong remember that those are the only things htc shift has less than n95. NOW FOCUS on the things the shift has better==it has huge screen, vista, and very fast. comparing n95 to shift is like comparing a mini cooper to a Ferrari. n95 is full of things true, but many of those things are unusable...internet with no touchscreen!!! lol gps that takes ages to switch on lol restarts by itself and dont forget the lovely battery life.

other people answered your questions...nokia n95 is not the ultimate anymore. and you people forget products like htc shift which kicks n95's ass day and night and lunar eclipse. plus I had phones that froze like n95s do and they drive you suicidal

The N95 to me as been a worldwide success by Nokia,o.k people now days don"t buy mobiles because of the functions on it an seemmore bothered about it looks, the N95 got all theother mobile producers worried about challenge the N95 but up till now nothing as been able to match this quality mobile,Nokia now days better realise putting loads of functons on a mobile might be o.k they think but if they put such a weak battery unable to match it after the disappoint of the N95 battery people will start looking else where for there next mobile an the next mobile Nokia release people will be waiting first to see if the battery life is alot better now than the N95

i cant understand people who dont like the N95.

its the ultimate phone and now all the other companies are making phones to try and compete with it.

K850 - LOL dont get me started
G800 - missing wifi and GPS and an OS
LG viewty - not as good as N95 but hats off for making it interesting
G600 - wasnt ever really in it

and please accept that the N95 does NOT freeze up.
The N95 batteries have been addressed (thanks nokia)
and its made out of magnesium, not plastic!

                          @ w0QQ

I don't care about what you think, but I prefer to have everything in my cellphone. So what if it has everything? You can carry a digital camera, a GPS device, an iPod, etc.. and i'll just carry my N95 8GB, ok? Go buy a Motorola RAZR and go back to the cave where you came from!

Your second statement is very contradictory. First, you said that N95 will face its end against one phone. Then, you say Nokia released another variation of N95 (???)

How can a phone face its end when its legacy is still being intact?? What utter nonsense are you talking about? I suggest taking your sleeping pills

LOL, it took them a while to release a 850Mhz version!

Finally TELSTRA (Australia) can boast a N95 in their shops... when the hype is slowly dying down.

8GB is a killer, but Nokia's don't really interest me much more. It's the same old really - I just don't find ANYTHING they do top-notch.

                            - Music Player: Very Average
                            - Camera: OK, but the N95 has no Xenon
                            - OS: Friggin slow
                            - Screen: what happened to the high-res N80/N90 screens?! Come'on SHARP and TOSHIBA are up to WVGA 800x480 on their models.
                            - Connectivity: Good;
                            - Color depth: 16 Million is software; Better contrast and brightness will do just fine. OLED?

Don't get me wrong, Nokia's are OK - just not really good at anything in particular.

I've got both SE K850i, and Nokia's N95 .. They both have their pros n cons. The good thing about the K850i is that it doesn't freeze, or restart by itsself, yet the only con is the fingerprint magnet and sometimes the buttons are annoying. The only thing where the N95 is better is that its not a fingerprint magnet (lol). Oh and Camera-wise, the K850i has a better camera, the macro shots are better n everything.
But both phones are good =D

They almost crammed everything in that brick. Thats why other nokia phones were left in the shade. and sooner or later your N95 will soon face its end against one phone. guess what it is?

Another Nokia. before your N95 gets its glorious peak another Nokia will kill Nokia.

In a years time, if ever you are a phone fanatic, surely you could have had 10 nokia phones being replaced.

                                What a market strategy...
So to extend the N95s legacy what did they release. another N95 - with variation.
and now what will replace the replacement.. another N95 - with different color...

its so tiring to hear it over and over again.
