Microsoft's Cortana app for Android and iOS will be no more as of January 31

That's just the app, the assistant will live on as part of the Microsoft 365 suite and Windows.

Never used it either on Windows or Android.
Always seems to be a pointless thing, a bit like Alexa and Google Assistant.
