Android's camera app exploit can be used to spy on users

Most OEMs should have patched it by now, though.

    I have a Samsung

But the only Google app I use in my phone is Gmail.
Nothing else as I have tried to force stop the rest of Google apps. I don't use their browser app (Samsung internet).

This is why you don't buy a Google Pixel.

"Everyone using official software and still getting support by their manufacturer"

And, What happen with the millions if not billions of phones that already don't have manufacturer's support and old ones with old Android versions? Fuc* you? Isn't a public released patch for older Android versions?

If they expect that i buy a new of their overpriced phones better i let the Camera App take some nice spy photos from me... that no one will be interested anyways.

I have my P30 Pro 'selfie' camera taped from day one. Never using it and always suspicious with spygle crapware.
