Here is my honest opinion about mobile SoC's:
1. Apple Bionic
2. Qualcomm Snapdragon
3. HiSilicon Kirin
That's it. Exynos and MediaTek are awful in their design and performance. Peace. ✌️

Go Oppo! More SOC competition is good for consumers and the industry as a whole. Let's hope they can compete properly with the big dogs.

Well, Xiaomi tried this and they understood it's better to just use Qualcomm, so ... good idea Oppo, release 3 phones every week, because that works, now build your own SoC, what can go wrong ?

Samsung just left the custom chip business. I dont see how oppo can do better than samsung. Its gonna be a wastage of resources and manpower..if it happens at all.
