Internal testing is in California, USA, expensive but good. External testing is in China and India, cheaper and worse.

But it only further proves how poor their optimizing before release was. This has been an issue for years with ios updates. And im sure the is more to it than just internal testers adding features.
But even then. What in the heck hes taken them so long to address it?????

Everything that supposed makes iphone and ios so superior and why they can supposedly get away with charging so much for less is a lie.
All across the board. Or how they don't need more ram, batteries, or storage. And time and time again all these things have proven to be the cause of many issues that were nothing but lies and false promises.

But it's ok. Cause there will always be the person that says oh it just works, oh they are so optimized, oh well i don't need that, oh wil iphone doesn't need more ram, etc.

"The cause was that internal developers would add features all at once, even if they were not fully working or buggy."
I'm sorry but I really can't see a direct accusation that external app developers are being blamed for causing the situation. It is much more clearly worded in the source article as GSMArena editors somewhat shifted the tone of it when they have concentrated its message into a few sentences. But a short excerpt quoted:
"The new development process will help early internal iOS versions to be more usable, or “livable,” in Apple parlance. Prior to iOS 14’s development, some teams would add features every day that weren’t fully tested, while other teams would contribute changes weekly. “Daily builds were like a recipe with lots of cooks adding ingredients,” a person with knowledge of the process said.

Test software got so crammed with changes at different stages of development that the devices often became difficult to use. Because of this, some “testers would go days without a livable build, so they wouldn’t really have a handle on what’s working and not working,” the person said. This defeated the main goal of the testing process as Apple engineers struggled to check how the operating system was reacting to many of the new features, leading to some of iOS 13’s problems."

            - but even if that's correct, it is a huge error on the beginner's level, not to implement a hierarchical workflow where you have some sort of "checkpoints" to fall back to when you need to. Or maybe it's that they had had a good workflow before (given that previous iOS versions had not made ripples anywhere near that much) and they've changed the process due to forking of iOS 13 and iPadOS.

The phone learns over time your habits and even after a year it stays fast as day one. They even marketed it as a feature while launching the phone. This is great for casual users who don't tinker around with their phones.

Though I stopped using Huawei flagships after they started locking bootloaders.

Maybe they should separate model development and software development.
And release major iOS version early in spring.
This way existing customers don't have to wait for new iPhone presentation , for their phones to get updated and Apple will have nearly half year to study all the bugs and adapt new model.
                          Win, Win.

So what was the process they followed all these years being the most successful company in the world? I have iPhone 11 and thankfully due to my own limited usages I don’t find any major bugs as such including latest browser tab issues since I seldom use Safari or HomeKit or stock Mail App! Most of the sites render faster in Edge & Chrome browsers!

But my biggest gripe with my iPhone 11 iOS is its usability and user experience (including performance sometimes) compared to my Mate 20 Pro which heavily mimicking iOS. The performance is far superior in my year old Android flagship from Huawei compared to iPhone 11. I don’t play games or use it for very heavy lifting tasks beyond camera, browsing, messaging, social media, sometimes videos

Why don't they do some programs like Microsoft today where they do contests to netizens who can catch serious bugs on PCs with prizes?

Oh for ththe love of god...blaming the app developers for system update issues that have plagued their updates for years now?
The huge mess of 13's bugs....besides the years of them prior.
Removing all user ratings and reviews.
And now blaming app developers for their own poor software optimizing. Or even properly checking the software before release.... and that's after it's gone through beta.

At least after years of one botched update after another they are taking some step
