AnonD-492870, 22 Nov 2019What is this "selfie" I keep reading about?pictures of themselves taken by narcissistic guys and girls using the camera placed on the front side of the smartphone (the one with the display, you know...). usually posted on facebook or other social media sites to show how fine they are doing, what they had for breakfast or the way they use the loo. funny fact: more friends they have, more selfies and less pictures taken by friends ...:)))))

Nobody is doing professional photography work on a smartphone. These scores are useless, especially on selfie cameras destined for ultra compressed social lamedia.
(I'm not a Sony fanboy if anyone wonders. I am always saying that Dx0 scores are worthless and irrelevant)

I don't know why people cares that much about those Dx0, they are Zer0 them selves. You do not need anyone to tell you how good your phone camera is... it's you who determines that according to your phone camera outcome(results vary and could look good for you but not so for others, so it doesn't mean either of you are correct but it is what it is). those guys are so paid and all the goods goes between sammy and ifones and some times pixels!. now, most flagship phones has great cameras but each defeats the other in certain area but there is no perfect camera in any phone, because each has it's pros and cons. take what you like and that simple!

As a long time Xperia phones user, I’m sad and disappointed in Sony and that Sony seems less and less relevance to the mobile world these days.
The phone are expensive and there aren’t much inside the box.
Was buying into the camera from the Xperia phones all these years but at the end, it ain’t really something at all.

The fact that their scale is not fixed and that factors analysed can change based on the industry makes them irrelevant. Don't get me started on the fact that they will rank smartphone cameras the same quality as mirrorless/SLR cameras. How is it that pros and even enthusiasts can see a vast difference in quality and capability but they can't?

Who cares? Since the main use of that camera is for selfie, you cant change the fact that you have an ugly face and the camera cant change it.
