Poco was the only flagship killer in it's era, so everyone wanted to get the best out of it with custom ROMs. Nowadays every chinese company wants to release their own flagship killer, while still releasing new phones every other week. Lack of custom build is not any company's fault. It just means that the phone's hardware set does not piqued the interest of ROM devs, even if the manufacturer releases the kernel source and unlocking the bootloader.

      Oneplus loled, 25 Nov 20191,8 gb, not 180mb. See in the websiteit was around 180mb not 1.8gb like you said, the one on the website i think its the whole coloros 6 with the latest features and security patches not just the latest update (november)

        So far the best budget phone under $250. However, the software is freaking absurd. Even MIUI is much much much better. Colr OS is for a teenage chinese girl who understands nothing about a phone; sluggish, slow, and annoying. You can't even set the animation to 0,5x in the developer option without it automatically goes back to default value in an hour. Even my 1000 year old sony phone don't do this.

        Yes, root it and flash another firmware you say ? Turns out Realme 5 pro isn't that popular in the dev's eyes. The rood method isn't even stable. Working twrp ? What is that ?

        My poco f1 already had 10+ custom roms, lots of kernel mods and so many twrp to choose only a month after its launch . What do you know ?

            What about Realme 5?? It has a lot of issues including touch, camera preview clarity and lag on ganing (even Clash Royale)

              i got this update last week, mind you, i have a chinese version, it was about 180mb, after the update the ram management became better and the phone is smoother.
