Forget Li- Fe , graphene..The future is solar ...No need for external charger be it wired /wireless. Gadgets with panels powered by solar, Wind and even human dynamics is what's in the store...Not just cool for the tech but the environment too in greater good..

Breaking chemistry is much harder than breaking physics. Energy density of a lithium based battery is already amazing. Graphene would definitely help but again, we are dealing with chemistry, not phsyics. One small mistake of releasing under-tested chemistry thing-y like battery and i believe what happened to Note 7 will be applied.

Safe but slow step is always preferred.

Moore Law already doesn't apply to most technology since early 2000s. Solid State battery is the next big thing, but it is not as easy as it sound, you dealing with totally different material and properties.

Problem is that even the weakest speccedphone with graphene battery under samsung brand will cost 100 bucks for phone 100 bucks for samsung logo and 500 bucks for graphene battery which adds 700 euros total to a cellphone with simmilar specs to A01 or A10.

                            Battery technology needs to improve

current rate of improvement is quite pathetic, we have been using the same battery technology for the past 29 years.

It's just marketing numbers. Having 1w over reno ace charging speed won't make informed consumers necessarily pick this over reno ace or realme x2 pro
