Bixby Voice will stop working on Android versions older than Pie on January 1

Disable all Bixby packets. Either root or install a package disabler.
Bixby though a convenience, can be very annoying. Just the like Google assistant on newer phones.

There was also no need for influencers or bandwagon riding journalists to make Samsung copy Apple.
They (non Apple) just saw the fruit company making huge money from charging people any chance they could.

I am glad that I use a nokia phone with pure Android and the Google assistant instead of Samsung device with the freaking One UI malware and even more freaking Bixby...

Funny. Android manufacturers forget something they shoved to the public as the latest must have is forgotten after two years.
Wonder if they will also stop selling batteries of an old product just to make users buy another one. Since everything is glued down tight.
