Well, apart from the 120hz refresh rate screen I don't see any upgrade in this phone.
And also I have a question (I'm no expert here, so please go easy on me) : can high refresh rate be implemented on an lcd screen? If I'm not mistaken, the 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rate screens I've seen this far have all been Oled.

asura, 27 Nov 2019I probably think this is the upcoming poco 2 phone. Yes, this should be named Pocophone F2. Xiaomi just messed up with the naming big time. This phone is not better than Redmi K20 and should be cheaper than it.

Yes they work, but I personally preffer no mechanical buttons or openings at all. Phones collect dust like crazy and I neither use jack nor speakers, only mic ;) As for minority, I am one, I dont use the selfie cam AT ALL. Id rather have no front cam for full screens, but sadly the majority of people love front cams...

Spec looks like redmi note 8 pro, with sd730g and upgraded screen and camera (kinda), but 84 bucks more expensives

I don't like redmi phones because of its miui but this punch hole nonsense is another level of foolishness.With no pop-up camera in the future,I think I'll have to settle with either realme X or redmi k20 as my secondary phone.2020 with punch hole is a downgrade from pop up 2019 generation.

First image might be fake? The volume/power buttons on the left and additional button on the right have the exact same placement as Samsung's Galaxy S10+. I doubt Xiaomi would copy that button placement, much less add an additional button.

If this is true, then Xiaomi is working hard to make the successor of the popular K20 very unpopular.
I suppose that the main points that made K20 so popular(and good) were:
- OLED screen
- Flat screen. Could someone, please, stop this nonsense of screens folded like old CRT screens? They look good on renders, but hideous in reality
- No punch hole. A very smart mechanism that brings the camera up when you need it.
The only things K20(pro/9T) was lacking for me design-wise were:
- Round corners. Again the old CRTs come in mind with such screens
- Leather or leather like back, so it can be hold nicely in the hand
But, it appears that I am more and more a minority in today's phone world :-(

I have yet to see a device that actually benefits from the additional depth camera. So far I haven't seen it making a difference at all.
