Amonng 100% of mobile device owners in this world. Only 10% are geek, only this 10% cares about whether the phone is quadcore or dualcore, if it has 1 GB of ram or not, etc etc. The rest 90% are just normal users, they just want phone for call, sms, browsing and little gaming sometimes. They do not care much about whats inside the phone and whats running beneath it. They just wants their phone to be stylist, simple to use, have good camera to take day to day pics. So not everyone is geek. Every mobile device has its own category of users. Iphone is example of it. Millions of iphones were sold in the previous years ? Why ? Because its OS is very very simple. Iphone is very easy to use. Its very very stylist. Its a good phone. I am using iphone4s currently. And i didnt buy it for its dual core A5 chip, i bought it just coz its beautiful and easy to use, great camera and siri. Thats just it, i dont care if it has quadcore or dual core. So its entirely upto you. If you are a geek then you will run after quadcores and dualcores. If you are normal user, you will look for the things i mention aboved. And i do really like windows 7.5, thinking of buying lumia 800. The OS is just very pleasing to use. Infact i find it better than iOS in user interface. So basically i am trying to say is that i am going to choose windows os 7.5 over iOS. Now dont say about apps. I know ios has 500,000 apps whereas windows has just around 200,000 apps. I really dont care. I mean, come on do you actually download all those ridiculous 500,000 apps into your phone and use it ?? NO WAY. Its just the important ones that you use. And symbian, android, ios, windows have all the basic and important apps that you will ever need. I am a normal user, there are hardly some 10 third party apps in my iphone4s, some photography apps and some utilities. So guys stop this "oh my god QUADCORE !!!! Oh my god 500,000 apps !!!! "

samsung, lg, and htc, are releasing phones based on the wishful thinking of a few geeky android fanboys, which is a very dangerous strategy that will ultimately fail once technology reaches that inevitable plateau: quad core, 720P screen. In contrast, Nokia and Microsoft are taking a different approach and concentrating on delivering a better user experience through advanced software, adding features that people will actually use.

am an android and multi-core fan. But i have to agree on some nokia dudes here. Why do you need a quadcore for a simple task as calling and sending SMS? even a dual core is more than enough. Each of us has our own needs for a phone. A geek's need is different from a Teacher or a Business Executive. You shouldn't be bashing around on those reasons. Before Androids even iPhones, Nokia is already there like Ancient China. While the US(Android) is still a bunch of jungles and barely clad indians, China(Nokia) Has already a Government Monarchy and and is already building machines and the greatwall of china. I bet my ass you use to use nokia before. Nokia is a Legend, A Hero of the Ancient Times, While our beloved Android is just on it's way on throne. Kobe bryant won't ridicule Micheal Jordan. You should do the same.

I'm just shock that Sprint doesn't just jump all over this phone. It's a CSMA, and it's right up their alley. There customers are asking for a new Windows phone.

AnonD-3234, 28 Mar 2012Ya you can compare the specs its straight which is the best... moreAt the time of quad cores,Nokia will simply issue a super strong flagship Windows 8 dualcore smartphone based on the snapdragon S4 architecture because a superstrong dualcore is all you need my friend. My 3year old laptop runs on an AMD dualcore and is blazing fast for my needs,so what's the point of switching to quadcore? If you noticed some GSMA subjects ago, there's a device that was benchmarked on android with Snapdragon S4,it was incredibly fast,AND had surprisingly good battery life with a mediocre battery(for all that big screen).Imagine if you could, what Windows phone 8+Snapdragon S4+custom Nokia firmware optimisations will bring in terms of everyday performance-stability-battery life..you can't

I don't Samsung, Nokia, Motorola or any other smartphone manufacturer will ever be as good and competitive as Apple and the iPhone. Apple's OS is just so fluent and easy to use with great accessible content and apps. If Samsung and the other manufacturers has IOS they would succeed and be better than the iPhone 4/4s. Also Apple take pride in the materials they use to build the devices.
