Deal: Sony Xperia 10 is less than half its usual price at just $169.99 unlocked

29 November 2019
The midranger normally retails for $349.99 in the US, which is a much tougher pill to swallow.

Shanti Dope, 30 Nov 2019Then don't. Sony's 2019 main flagship phone is already belo... morethe deal is tempting me sooo much...
that's what i really love about xperia, they are future proof...
well, not through "high spec" since most people think they are bad in that department...
but, featurewise, they blew others away...
      well, that is just me...
remember that there are four kinds of customers - cheap, sophisticated, difficult, and affluent...
i dont know what i am there... :) but i just buy what works for me... so far xperia is one of them... perhaps a little bit of LG and Nokia too.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2019I won't even spend $1000 on a phone. Of course I can't cont... moreThen don't. Sony's 2019 main flagship phone is already below $800 in some regions, and for similar price to a popular phone today, Sony gives you the screen that's truly worthy of its price.
In fact, they have been putting others to shame in display department since 2017.
If not for Qualcomm's abysmal SoC, last year's Premium device would've gotten its 4K HDR 144Hz screen to great use already.
And if that's not enough to put others to shame, many mid range Xperias (yes, including this Xperia 10 Plus) were already having 120Hz displays by hardware level.
Come to think of it, the next Galaxy S phones are about to get the feature that's already available on Xperia mid rangers since 2016.
Not saying that Sony makes the absolute best phones in the world, but the whole world is definitely missing out on the great things that Sony is showcasing.

THE-TRUTH-REVEALER, 30 Nov 2019While I know that Sony does some mumbo-jumbo battery magic ... moreTheir 2016 flagship was exactly that, the xperia XZ suffer the 3GB low RAM problem most of the time.

So just imagine if a flagship with hi-end specs can't work out with 3GB of RAM ( while every other brands already going for 4 or 6 RAM in the same year, and the XZ was released on the last quarter of that year).

And here again with Sony, while even the Chinese phone with the similar specs got 4 or 6 RAM already, and Sony still think that they got it better and would work out just fine ( while it really isn't!).

Although this is a midrange phone ( the xperia 10), but at 2019 and going into 2020, the xiaomi note 7, note 8 is better than this and cheaper too at original price.

At least they got it right for the flagships.
Who the hell would buy a 2019 $1000 flagship phone without a 4K HDR OLED screen? Dumb id**ts maybe do so.

Even at this price, they must be profiting from the customers. Sony lost the market due to low spec overpriced phones.

that bad huh sony? i doubt people will buy even at that price LOL. I really don't know what's happening to sony. Has the background, has the money, has the tech, These guys are known for thin at great quality stuff. So what is all this? its puzzling really.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2019Even with this big price cut, I don't think people will buy... moreXiaomi's Redmi series technically kills this phone by a long shot.

I thinks it's not the worst deal ever. Processor is a bit outdated but if someone doesn't play games and stuff s/he must be ok. Otherwise it's a good phone

it is a phone for just watching and scrolling.

While I know that Sony does some mumbo-jumbo battery magic (fancy term for aggressive background process maintainence) which makes me worry less about the 2870 mah battery, what I am really worried about is the 3GB of RAM.
Not a good buy, especially at the end of 2019!

Seems like no one is buying Sony phone anymore.
That price cut is so dang big!
