There is no competition between the two except for the cameras. Camera - that's the "only" area where the Mi Note 10 is superior. In everything else he X2 Pro is superior.

[deleted post]Let me ask you, do you some problem understanding? I never talked about business but about production cost . If you're uneducated let me help you. The rise of OLED displays began when found out that the production cost was very similar to LCDs and sometimes even less. Yes even though OLED looked better than LCD the primary reason was price. It always about money. The secondary reason was it's specs - deep blacks, vibrant colors and contrast ratio. But still at first, as it was a new tech and very few companies made it, the cost was high especially supply cost. So it wasn't popular not just because of the price but also because of the the screen burn in issues and terrible color accuracy. LCDs remained superior. Then only the prices drops and more and more companies had interest to use it. You are just talking about the present only. You have to look it's past too. So at least have the ability to understand others and do some research before embarrassing yourself.

You are wrong about the refresh rate. Proof is OnePlus 7 vs OnePlus 7T display. OnePlus 7T's display costs higher. So next time do some research at least.

I am sure Mi note 10 display cost more.

What you've said that it's "much cheaper" isn't true. But OLED production cost has been significantly lower in the past few years. That is why, we're seeing lots of devices such as Smartphones, TVs, Smartwatchs and even Laptops with OLED displays. After some more years, OLED may be the default type of display tech for almost all devices.

Firstly, the display is of a better quality. It's brighter than the Mi Note 10 by a lot. Secondly, it has 90hz refresh rate. Thirdly, it is an HDR10+ certified display. Fourthy, it's a SAMOLED display with a slightly higher resolution and the aspect ratio is 20:9. So it's not just the curves and bezels. The quality and specification of the display matters.

Curved, Notch, Punch Hole, Higher Refresh Rate, Higher Resolutions, HDR10, HDR10+, etc... All these cost differently. What you've said is right but since only a few manufacturers can produce OLED displays, the price will be obviously higher than that of LCD.

If you did you would know that OLED are more expensive. Putting an OLED in smartphone is just hassle free, both for the users and manufacturers. You'll also know it when you'll compare the price difference between iPhone 8 plus and iPhone X.

On that year many presume that the cost would be cheaper than LCD on following years. How come it be the most expensive part now. IMO, it's just a part marketing strategy and buried to technology shifting to make more benefits.

Then comes Camera, SOC, Memory, Body and other components. The Mi Note 10's camera is only the more expensive part compared to the X2 Pro. But X2 Pro has many things. Higher quality HDR10+ 90hz display, flagship SOC, Faster Memory, Dolby Atmos speaker & sound system, dual-band gps & faster modem/network components. All these parts are more expensive than the Mi Note 10's. Plus, the X2 Pro has significantly faster charging. So the X2 Pro is a better buy overall.
