I guess I will be replacing my S8 with an S10 this winter :/
It's insane to sacrifice these great cameras which s11 will have but:
- I am not buying second pair headphones just for the phone. I use the 3.5mm jack of my thinkpad when at the office, then I use the same headphones on my way home.
- I am not gonna buy another car just because my vehicle doesn't support music playback via bluetooth.
- The front camera is not much different than the "notch" on most phones.
I really hoped I would see an S10 with an improved cameras (not a rounded note without a pen)

Jacks are coming back through high quality external DACs, for one. Plus, I bet most normal people using bluetooth headphones won't be using much more than their phones, maybe also their PCs. You think audiophiles, having tens of headphones, would only have a damn phone to play music? High quality equipment, amplifiers for high impedance headphones, you name it. Hell some audiophiles use turntables and vinyl, and maybe YOU would call that obsolete, because you value other things.
I miss my Axon7 horribly. To the point of being about to shell out $100 for an used one just to play music. That or buy some external DAC that's comparable, something like an AK4490 or better (what the axon packs).

I have an ATH-M50X and my wires are thick enough to be untangled with ease. I sure need an internal QuadDAC to take advantage of this highly rated Studio quality Over-Ears but I don't wanna buy LG phones to do so.
People who demand wireless are those bitter people who has the same mental psyche as the people who shouts and finger points anyone who purveys fake news; the Oppressive type.
I could've swear that everyone bought ATH, Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, AKG and the rest because they listened to the trusted audiophiles saying to avoid Beats by Dre and Bose.

Jackless future, 03 Dec 2019Sad for those dumb audiophiles who build up their collectio... moreI used to think that the lack of headphone jack is a deal breaker for me, and one of the reasons I bought the S10 was the headphone jack. Now, after eight months, I find myself using the jack way less than I thought I would. The reason is I bought an external DAC/AMP, the Creative Super X-Fi. S10's sound quality from the 3.55mm jack is terrible compared to Creative's. The Creative connects to the phone via USB-C, but its output is through 3.5mm jack, so I can use all of my headphones.
To all audiophiles, do yourselves a favor sooner than later and buy an external DAC/AMP. You will get a significant sound improvement and you'll be able to use your current headphones.
On topic, is this screen protector glass or plastic? After 8 months, I can safely say that S10's greatest flaw for me is the lack of tempered glass protector support. I know about the expensive glasses that employ glue, I just want the normal, good old tempered glasses used by the majority of the phones.

Even my friend's very good BT headset still struggles to match my $20 wired headphone bought 6 years ago.

Which audiophiles in their right mind will want that tiny DAC / AMP in such small smartphones? Its completely useless.
Forward thinking audiophiles would have invested in usb-c with quality build-in active DAC / AMP. They would have throw away the default headphones that comes with the smartphone anyways.
There is also a subset of audiophiles who prioritize ease of music listening over a slight loss in quality.. thus the rise of the bluetooth headset. Why waste 20 secs untangling wires.. when you can simply pop that set of cans on your ears quickly and effortlessly?
Say bye bye to jack.. its not coming back.
