I wonder how stable is the 5G network and if it's going to cause overheating in some phones.

Unforfunately 5G cannot be deployed worldwide because some countries (especially Africa, some SE Asia countries, and Middle East) lack the proper infrastructure. Even 2G/EDGE is still prominent in such countries.

(Not everyone cares about autonomous vehicles, AI robots, Smart Cities, etc. controlling our lifes.)

        Technology transfer

No coverage in the upper peninsula of Michigan or Alaska. And many areas they depend on AT&T for roaming. Who are they kidding!

Also, China is more advanced than what you might think.
Don't even bother me going to American's claims. 5G is still a short range invention, so it's still a potential future proofing rather than just a fantasy.

Black Friday one-day sale break records (over $7B just online not including offline, Sat, Sun or CyberMonday numbers) again, compared to China's 11-11 (China's and India's mimic of Black Friday) and India's Dawali 5-day ( which is over a billiin people in both countries) festival, Lol

HappyAndroidUser, 03 Dec 2019Uhm, China already got 5G and its testing 6GJust get over it. The US was first to deploy 5G, and now via T-Mobile, it will reach over 200M consumers Dec. 8. (THIS YEAR!) while China snailing around, analysts at Jefferies predict that China will have 110 million 5G users — about 7% of the country's population — by 2020. (When in 2020, 1Q, 3rdQ?!)

110M is half of 200M+ with no known deployment date, Bud.

America isn't advanced as China these days because of how they are not paying their debts.

To be fair this is Low Frequency LTE. Still good, but it's not going to hit GB speeds. But much better and consistent coverage. Think of it as 4.5G
