Motorola One Hyper unveiled with 64MP main, 32MP pop-up selfie camera and 45W charging

04 December 2019
Despite rumors, the secondary camera on the back is an ultra wide shooter (118°) instead of a depth sensor.

This is 100% a rebadged version of the Vivo S1 chassis and the specs of the Vivo V15 pro.

For that amount of money, I'd rather buy the Galaxy A80 rather than that half-finished product ...

That chipset should've knocked the price down by at least $100 more. For that price, you're better off spending $100 more for the Red Magic 3s with a massively better chipset, bigger battery, better design, more RAM, and stereo speakers.

This phone as others from Lenovorola are crap, so i doubt that rich people is interested in an overpriced shit. Those ones will go directly to buy other thing with better specs, better cameras, etc, despite the price.

Kingslayer, 04 Dec 2019Nice phone. Good price. Too large. Motorola should only cat... moreYou know, when others make a product for the rich people, it's always the poor that make too much noise about it being overpriced. Mainly because they can never afford it.

What they don't get, is that such objects will cease to be an object of desire if the poor can easily afford them. No manufacturer of anything will be stupid as to drop prices on rich men gadgets.

Anders, 04 Dec 2019Battery is too small. Should be at least 4,000mah for scree... more5000mah for 6 inch screens

Samsung's next foldable will be a flip phone and could be only $800. Motorola needs to see this and lower the price of the Razr to half. Right now, foldables are like flat screen TBs during the 2000s. Expensive. I remember having a friend who spent $4000 for his TV back in 2009. Now you can buy the same set or even better for like $400.

                    OIS on main sensor?

I will wait until the review. Ever since the Moto G7, all Motorola phones seem to have a flw one way or the other, specially in the camera area.

Sadly, this phone will be priced for about $500 where I live. Its supposed to sell for the same as the Moto One Zoom and that's how much the Zoom is selling for where I live, which isn't worth given that its LCD, only 2 cameras on the back, and probably a plastic body.

45W charging but 45W charger isn't in the box

                        4GB Ram (?)

Snapdragon 675, not even 710, or 730G. On the very day of the 765's introduction.

Design is a Vivo's Rip off

They aren't even trying, are they ?

Does it have aptX support? And does it have stereo speakers?

That's a good one in my books. The specs & design are attractive for the price group.

Moaners will always find reasons to complain about, but I'm certain it's gonna be a successful product.

Motorola should only cat... moreMaybe Razr 2021 will be a competitive product to Galaxy Fold 2/3 and with flagship specs and state of the art battery, I hope the Razr sequel will cost like a typical flagship price of $799 and it'll definitely sell like hot cakes as long as LenovoMoto updates the phone diligently like Google and HMD Nokia.

I say it like that because Google won't allow Android One on phones with latest specs. Only their Pixels can do that.

Kingslayer, 04 Dec 2019Nice phone. Good price. Too large. Motorola should only cat... moreReduce Razr's price to $400? Yeah, they can do that in 2021/2022. Remember, Razr V3 was released in 2004 and was priced at an unobtainable rate. Two years later, they drastically reduced the price and all flocked to the Razr.

By that time, the price is already down to what you liked but it's already obsolete as planned. 2 years is the typical life expectancy of an Android phone. It ain't a dumbphone that can still be used for decades.

Nice phone. Good price. Too large. Motorola should only cater to the mid-range market. Drop the new Razr's price to $400, and watch it sell like the original RAZR. Ok, maybe not as many but still. Motorola needs to realize the market is price-sensitive. They can be one of the top OEMs again by having every phone in their lineup at $500 or less.
