Weekly poll: can Motorola One Hyper's 64MP camera and 45W charging carry it to victory?

Those are two firsts for Motorola, the pop-up selfie camera is another. But this may just be a case of playing "catch-up".

    No good. $400 is too much for a dated SoC with mediocre cameras, bad EIS, old fingerprint sensor, lower RAM and specifications than competitors, etc. At that price competitors are offering not only better specs, plus even 5G future proof phones now. We are at december, in one month the CES and MWC in two will be full of them with a lot better choices at that price range. But if don't don't want to wait you can already buy some of them for Christmast, like the K30, Vivo X30, Honor V30. Specially Xiaomi/Redmi could even come cheaper and a lot better phone and more modern.

    But is Lenovorola you know. The $1500 medium range phones. Imagine if the put a SD865 next time for $2000. Although it will be a suicide with Samsung releasing a sub $999 foldable flagship phone. We will see...

This alleged premium brands with cheap and dated hardware don't offer enough value for the money. USA is a stale and limited market with overpriced phones everywhere. But is their problem as their goverment seems to want to keep the high prices closing the market to competitors charging extra customs, etc.

        Motorola phones have always been a good choice. Unfortunately with Lenovo ownership, they never got timely updates (though being near vanilla Android OS).This was the main reason that I stopped buying new Motorola phones and moved to Xiaomi.

        With Android One program, it seems promising in terms of updates. Vanilla Android is always a no nonsense OS.
        If Motorola implements Android One across its 3 segments (low,mid and premium) like Nokia, it would be one of the desired brands.

        I still use old Moto G3 as my spare and experimental phone ( I try custom ROM with it). And experience is still problem free and smooth. I use 'Pixel Experience' OR 'Lineage 17'.

            Don't forget one major con: the stock android

              People don't seem to get it. This phone is primarily marketed for US, where it's competition is with phones like Pixel 3a & Samsung A70. Comparing it to Xiaomi or Realme is senseless.

              When you make the proper comparison, the Moto One Hyper (& also Moto One Zoom) will come on top.
