Asus, 09 Dec 2019You have no issues with the Tencent version at all?All devices have a few quirks. The tencent version doesn't have an high level issues or things that effect most people. Not beyond any other device.

itching to get my hands on the phone but held back by past experiences on asus smartphones getting no to very little software updates. anyone who is using an asus smartphone right now, not necessarily the rog phones, is asus still bad at software updates?

Obviously no prices... cus those are gonna be scalped to h3ll and beyond xD
(Seriously, the *original* ROG Phone is still being sold for 700 Euros here as if nothing happened :D newer model for the same price, strangely enough, but the availability is even more anemic)

Well other competitors can just hide in shadows.
Samsung Apple Google LG etc.
Noone of them sells sucha great phone for such a good price.
Asus nailed it a lot this time.
Its only shame the ultimate version doesnt come with already unveiled SD865.

Kinda late on the Strix version. I'm now content with the Tencent version and the updates (with courtesy of XDA Developers) that I have to apply manually.
