For me right now the best place for VR is to use it as a virtual display. For example if you could connect it to your console via HDMI cable and use it as an external monitor, you could be able to play on gigantic screen on your favorite games. Second best for me is to watch movies 2d/3d/360 but for all those purposes you need to get rid of screen door effect.
