I love the fact of how people are grateful for something that should have worked in the first place.

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2019You can revert. Just restore with an older image. You can ... moreUm...not in many cases or past a certain time frame.
And what a poor and sad excuse. Oh well you don't have to update... The point is these system updates should be much more thoroughly tested before released. And when they are releassed in very buggy unfinalized states like this they are not sent as such. They are released to the public as a more finished and optimized update. And under the false belief that apple is some god at software optimizing and 'just works". So people are under the false belief it's safe and time to take the update.....then you are trapped for weeks or months waiting for a slew of bug fixes. They've done this for years.
And here you are still such a shameless fan for no benefit...and many others just like you...defending them for this and trying to deflect these facts.

And again...what's the problem when that Droid is already more advanced out of box than the iPhone is after it's last update?
And way to emphasize worst case scenarios. You don't have to root and Rom. And many roms are much better than that. Unless it's beta, very locked phone, or cheap\rare device. Jailbreaking was a way worse experience.

And just like that it's again - my phone is better than your etc lol

People usually buying phones based on their needs and budget. Saying that I have something better than you and your product is crap, is really childish.

You can choose to upgrade or stick with current OS version. No rush if you do not want.

Good luck on android when everyone just go for third party roms, whereby upgrade by vendors is rare and slow. Everytime on XDA, you find people endlessly flashing and complaining.. willing to lose all data. Screaming at developers for banning them, because they use rooted phones.

As they send out some last second rusted betas that plague people's phones for months on what was supposed to be an official update. And then you can't even revert back to the stable software you were on. You have to wait for them to send one fix after another... So much better...

And that doesn't always come with an ocean if bugs needing multiple repairs for months after release

They have also released iOS 12.4.4 for older devices that don’t support iOS 13. Apple are now supporting devices that are well over 6 years old! :D

Anyway, got my XS Max updated to iOS 13.3, my iPad Air 2 on iPad OS 13.3 and my Apple Watch on watchOS6.1.1 also released today, it’s amazing to be part of an ecosystem where EVERYTHING gets updated at once, it’s so cohesive. :)

Not having to wait for carrier and vendor approvals on updates is such a huge advantage for Apple products.
