Anonymous, 11 Dec 2019And I will get your Mate 20 Pro when you sell it for $30.My Mate 20 Pro is the best phone I ever bought ... $200 with 1-month rolling contract (approx. $27/month) ... I cancelled the contract after receiving the phone. Total ~$227.
So it's possible my telco will do a similar deal if/when the Mate 30 Pro get Google services.

My other phone is a Pixel 2 XL which I bought used from eBay, with 12 month warranty, for ~$110.

Bargains can be had if you look out for them.

An interesting review showing what jpegs from the cameras can do. BUT, there is NO mention of RAW files (i.e. DNG) AT ALL, and we wonder if there is native Huawei RAW file support, or do we have to get it as an App. from the Google store? Oh yes, no mention in the video of Panorama either

nik, 11 Dec 2019Does it still come with 7nm+ ULV instead of 7nm in the mate... moreAll 5G-enabled Kirin 990 chipsets are 7nm+ ULV, unlike 4G versions which are 7nm.

Coupled with the fact that it's built on-same-chip and high 4500mAh battery it has spectacular battery life to the point the guys at Qualcomm and Samsung are scratching their heads because even the upcoming SD865 and Exynos 990 won't be that advanced like Kirin 990 when it comes to 5G and battery life!

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2019Please Huawei make a 256GB variant from the regular mate 30... moreSimply unreliable? Wel you must be owning some cheap microSD cards. I spent some really good money on a highly reputable microSD card two years ago, and I still yet to see any problem with it to this day.

nik, 11 Dec 2019Does it still come with 7nm+ ULV instead of 7nm in the mate... moreOf course it does, because the slightly slower version doesn't have 5G support.

I think 128GB is a great step and makes the Mate 30 Pro more approachable.128GB really is enough for most, and if you want more, you still have expandable memory.

Please Huawei make a 256GB variant from the regular mate 30. I don't know much about the NM memory but my experience with the External memory(microSD), is that it's simply unreliable.

Does it still come with 7nm+ ULV instead of 7nm in the mate30pro (non 5g)?
would be awesome if it is still 7nm+ ULV (higher clocked kirin 990 based on 7nm+)

The 256 and 512gb variants have kirin 990+ with higher clocks.
Would be nice if gsmarena noted this. So you have 3 differences. lower price, 128gb (but still 8gb), and kirin 990 instead of a bit faster 990+ (in 256gb and 512gb)
