Weekly poll results: the Motorola One Hyper will do fine in the right markets

15 December 2019
LTE band support and import duties make this phone very competitive in the US and Brazil, perhaps not so much elsewhere.

Why have Lenovo / Motorola lost their way with the Moto One range, they seem to have no focus as to what they should be doing and who the target customer is. First they start with Moto One as an Android One program device, then they drop that and produce a multitude of different devices that satisfy no one because they appear to be restricting each model to too narrow a market segment.

And in some way it's true. Those are the only countries were they still can sell well their dated and overpriced mid-rangers. Elsewhere there are a lot better options at the same price and cheaper being better phones. One or two years old phones at that price are even better that this new one.

I wish you didn't just accept oligopoly and instead pointed out to how much Motorola and Samsung take advantage of customers in the Americas

so, just like almost any other brands?

Add $50 and you'll get the Escobar Fold 1 foldable smartphone with Sd855 and 8GB of RAM. Quality is not shabby at all too.

India is super Saturated with xiomi oppo one plus and vivo. It's good if moto Skips India, from48mP India is getting lot of64MP Cam Phones. I think by march Midrange phones will have 108 mP camera as Standard While above 400 $ Phones will have Sx peris copic as minimal Standard. looking forward for Huawei For P-40pro to raise the Standard of Photography. It's pity that oneplus is getting loss due to its low Camera performance. Anyway they C oneplus & Nokia ) have opted for TV as Second bussiness. But only55 inches available NO Premium75 or77 inch TV. Maybe Huawei will set Premium in Television too.
USA by banning Huawei access to Google has created Pathway for New operating system. Sure one plus, Huawei , vivo, oppo, xiomi who have more than 80% of android Market will Join and develop new O. S. Soon USA maybe totally isolated, Asia and Europe will be having Superior o.S. The sad part is this will pave way for New Superpower China. Hope this doesn't happen And Google is Made available For All.

For other markets this moto is doomed, including Europe. At this price there are better options. At 400€ you can get Mi9T Pro, Mi9, Mi Mix3 5G, Realme X2 Pro etc
