Well you better keep that promise, Microsoft. It was because of that particular reason I left PlayStation in favour of Xbox.

A game from 2007 w mods still looks better than half of the games out there. I was playing Crysis in 2009 (w mods) and the experience has yet to be surpassed by many if not most titles.
If there is one thing that is consistent with consoles is underwhelming specs, about 5-10 years behind than if we lived in a PC only world.
Add to that the things you say and yeah 90% of console gaming is garbage. In both departments btw.

But that isn't the point with these devices. 10 to 12 TF, at best. But the 4 x will be 100% correct on the bit they are measuring.

Still i prefer regular computers.
Free games via torrent most of them capable working online and offline.
Better specs and much more useful.
Console is just or gaming PC is for everything you can name it.

Hope the TV's available will have VRR. Few do yet. And only LG has stuck 2.1hdmi ports in theirs. Be aware though that their implementation is limited to 60fps.

Saw a comment doubting the performance capabilities and was just chiming in to say that optimization has always been best on consoles due to the lower range of devices (as opposed to PC which can have nearly infinite configurations). The hardware may not be the most impressive, but with the optimization offered by console, the performance should be more than satisfactory.
