Abhi-Darth-Plagueis, 16 Dec 2019Okay, so this seems like a new and interesting thing. How f... moreit depends on the signal range of the device. previous bluetooth version are able to tell the distance between two bluetooth devices; bluetooth 5.1 adds sensing of the angle of the bluetooth signal. when you add the 2 together you can triangulate the location of a transmitting device relative to the receiving device or vice-versa. from the bluetooth group, the angle sensing is 3D so it can very well track movement. demoes also show there is relatively no lag.

Okay, so this seems like a new and interesting thing. How far precisely, it'll work? I mean just above the screen? Or upto full range of BT 5.1?
because I can visualize the ad for this one -
An orchestra conductor directing all too many artists on the small screen - with the S-Pen , instead of a baton.
