Anonymous, 20 Dec 2019dunno where u live but real world speed and test environmen... moreSeoul, HK, Xiong'an(a special district near Beijing) all far surpass EE's number, I mean with 4G, while realistic 5G numbers are near 1Gbps in covered locations(coverage is still spotty, but 5G will remain spotty for a long time unless they use the slow 600-800Mhz band) in Shanghai and Beijing, probably other regions as well.
You're only bringing to attention how shockingly inefficient UK's cellular network is. Also I don't believe you should be treating their advertised number as even an average, nobody does that, it's probably a peak or something close.

S Yu, 19 Dec 2019330Mbps is solid 4G territory(real world 4G test setups sur... moredunno where u live but real world speed and test environments don't match. Also speed varies on network traffic as well. Tell you what, use 5g in London and speed is usually below 100 mbps lol. 4G in busy town centres are sub 10 mbps, because of network congestion. 5G is meant to relieve that a lot but...yeah sure don't see that coming.

That said, I have been with all 4 UK network and tbh EE is one of the better ones (as they should be with that pricing!). Vodafone is actually quite good too, better in some places but that probably got to do with the fact that they have far less subscribers (they are 3 rd).

..Although it doesn't explain why Three is so bad. They are cheap for a reason (sub 10 mbps in almost everywhere, even when EE and Vodafone is reaching 100 mbps territory on 4g). O2 isn't that much better, with their speed about 20 mbps if that. And yes, I tried all this at same time on 4 devices..You do have to pay for quality. Just think it is a bit too much I am paying for

Anonymous, 19 Dec 2019But also has the best coverage and speeds330Mbps is solid 4G territory(real world 4G test setups surpass 1Gbps), if it doesn't go above 1.5Gbps frankly it's not worth it, and if this is the best in the UK then it's clear what a scam 5G is. The only solace for the people of UK is that this 5G probably doesn't cannibalize 4G bandwidth, unlike what China Mobile is doing.
