The Note10 Lite was rumored to come with SD845, this is 855?? Or was the Note rumor wrong? If Note10 Lite also comes with 855 and expandable storage, in addition to the S-Pen it could definitely be my next device, ROGP2's specs were somewhat overkill anyway, while being too ugly.

If you want SD855 for cheap, you can get excellent phones like Lenovo Z6 Pro, Asus Zenfone 6, Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, Realme X2 Pro & others for much better prices than what Sammy is asking for this alleged "Lite" phone.

Also with the Snapdragon 856, and better Computational Photography algorithms, the 48MP sensor is going to really shine. With even a slight price drop on this, it should comforably eat into a huge chunk of the midrange marker.

The "Lite"... moreI think the lite models are supposed to compete with all these sub 500$ budget flagships, they are definitely creating a dent in the market as lot of people choosing 500 dollar flagships instead of one from 1000 dollar brat pack.
So I think it makes sense to launch a lite version and captilize over people who'll buy for brand name over others Smartphones.

The "Lite" moniker is closely attached to budget models of higher-tier models. What they're doing is similar to writing "Mini" in-front of your phone's name, and then making the phone huge nonetheless. It's a senseless move.
Also, Samsung already has a flagship brand, so it makes zero sense to launch "Lite" models with high specs & price.
If you weren't a fanboy, you'd realize the issues in Samsung's poor product management.

Those who complain about the price don't get the point of this. you get what is basically an A71 with S10 internals, for slightly less. this looks like a gap filler between the A and S series and launch of hte S11. hopefully Samsung doesn't use this phone as an excuse to drive up the S11 prices.

Interesting setup.
I am guessing the 'tilt-OIS' will be having way more movement to compensate for shake and thus even few more stops of shake compensation. I am guessing it will introduce more features with firmware updates (high res mode?). Right now, night mode is best taken with super stable hands or a on a tripod. This should help get rid of that(?).
