Software has been geared towards the same. So taller phones being tough to handle is becoming a myth.

To be honest, I would be sooooo much more interested getting 5W wireless charging at distance up to ~50cm .
The goal would be to drop the phone anywhere on a bedside table, and have it recharge : it would be sooooo much more convenient that the fussy alignment requirements of the Qi wireless charging standard.
But I guess it may not be possible to do this with the currently existing regulations a NO smartphone manufacturer is selling a phone with at distance wireless charging : I am easily ready to pay my iPhone 100€ more for such convenience...

Let's waste even more energy. Because we have the ability to do so. See this is why most people should protest NBA for not having a backbone against china.

Step 1, introduce disruptive technology
Step 2, trigger people's natural resistance to change
Step 3, everyone accepts technology as it matures
Step 4, repeat step 1

instead of just increasing fast of charging
increase the amount of battery
without increasing the size of tall ( too much long )
just like ROG || zenfone, they increase amount of battery to 6000mah, from other side they increase tall too, to 171mm
was so good if they sport 6000mah battery in 159mm tall phone like ROG |

That's crazy. IIRC the fastest wireless charging actually has a fan in the pad since wireless charging coil is a bit inefficient, wasting some power into heat. I can't imagine how hot it is on 50 watt wireless charging.
