HTC Sensation and Sensation XE reportedly updated with ICS

im an xe user? and most of my friends are using the same device as mine, but they updated already their devices to ics, but mine dont. :( ive tried and tried it for weeks but still no notification that my xe is ready for the update. why is that so?? :(

Had my Sensation XE for just under a week now and to my joy had ICS pre installed (on virgin mobile UK), really happy with the build quality and performance, only things that I think need work, is the camera (previous phone was Nokia N8) and battery life, maybe a bigger battery? as has a 1730 mAh, maybe a 2500mAh?

hi i'm from philippines also .. now i have htc sensation xe ... the problem is whenever i tried to sync my music to my phone using htc sync.... it go to my phone ( well that's not my problem .. that what i'm supposed to do :) ( the problem is .. whenever i check my storage to clear some temporary file ... it read my musics as temp file and deleted it ../.. :( i want to have my music to be recognize as steady /not temp file .. pls help me

I've updated my Sensation to 4.0.3 and have the same problem that almost every body has, WIFI stopped working. here some mobile technitions are reinstalling the update to a version that WIFI is working with lat version and the rest using new version, but I'm sure that it won't be Standard.
give us the new update at list please, at list my GPRS(EDGE) connection is still working and I can download using this.

I have updated my HTC XE to HTC Sence 3.6 and Android 4.0.3.
And now wifi and bluetooth in my phone is not working. Could you please help me to fix this problem?

I just received android ics on my htc sensation. and after installing it.. my device wont to see my wifi networks, So Sad.....

After installing the official ICS OTA uptade, the wi-fi stopped working, it worked when i put a sim module from UAE, Etisalat, but when i get back to Syriatel Sim it stops again...
after contacting HTC support, the told me to wait for an update to fix this issue,,,

i did 2nd update after ICS.. each times restart i received 19 android update.. 1st time update ICS din face this issue.. 2nd update i get frustrate each time restart i get this android updating & it delay the boot time.. how 2 fixed this issue?? pls share ur thought..

i have update my sensation xe to ics today.
but unfortunately my wifi has gone when i want to connect to my rooter ...
i live in iran and hope that htc will provide a wifi fix patch for us sooooon :-(

My Sensation bought in Singapore upgraded to ICS about 1.5 months ago is very buggy, was not like this before the upgrade.
It' reboots at will often, and is no unreliable as an alarm clock because every other day during the overnight recharge it's off from yet another reboot.
Plus each time it boots it loads 36 Android updates.
If I could go back to GB I would. This is becoming useless to me.

I am from UAE I got the update today morning on my HTC Sensation XE Beat Audio. When I did first download it said Download corrupted try again.
I did a download when i came back from work and it went well. In ginger bread there was a folder on my desktop with Shortcuts i couldn’t rename it. Now i am rename and see the preview of the content. The clock can be set to 4X1 size so more room for icons.
The Wi-Fi Mobile network Bluetooth everything is working fine. Additional NOTE with pen writing and face unlock is there.
The Camera is still the same no change. Why said so is cause my Google Nexus S when it was upgraded from 2.3.7 to 4.0.4 The quality of the 5MP camera was far better than before and it was the best then any phone i ever used.
I expected that change in this 8MP camera when it got the update.
Hope everybody got the update and all are doing well. Good Luck guys with the new update.
I am now happy and feeling like the story end with a great climax.

Finally the update for my 2 months old HTC Sensation XE has reached today afternoon.
Now i don’t have to do S off and unlock.
The update won’t erase anything so no backup required.
WOW!!!!!
I am so excited, let me finish the install and then i shall let you know about the update.
Please give thanks if you are all happy with this news.
