sd845 is still quite powerfull SoC and f1 can be found for less than $220.

far better than any midrange samsung, huawei.... and cheaper.
yes, design is outdated, cheap plastic, notch,... but still, i dont mind about these...

Even gaming is utilizing higher clock single cores instead of multiple ones. Unless you are editing videos or something, multiple cores are not used. This is why 730g is snappy enough for most people in day-to-day tasks.

Wow! Excited for this! But I think I'll buy a vanilla/armored Poco F1 128gb before upgrading to Pocophone F2. Chances are they'll make the Redmi K30 Pro (Non-5G) the next Poco F2...

YUKI93, 22 Dec 2019No thanks, I already tried Poco F1 and definitely not impre... moreI think the build quality is fine, but it does not feel premium.

The buttons are a little loose, and the screen is a little hollow sounding when you tap it and the vibration motor is horrible.

Despite this I still think its probably the best all round phone I have used.

No need for a case as the kevlar back is plenty grippy, and more importantly is doesn't increase the size.

While phones with glass backs feel more premium, you really need a case which then makes the thing feel not premium plus increases the size.

Obviously everyone has different priorities when choosing a phone, but for me the ergonomics and size are much more important then the specs.

I've got another phone here with a snapdragon 730 (I think) and I can't tell any difference between that and the Poco performance wise, for my usage.

Next Year? Better don't say that, then say... Cause can be next year Dec..

It's just an Android 10 update, probably. The Pocophone "F2" will have trouble fitting in the price range of their currently existing Redmi Series. Just my own opinion.

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2019Poco f1 compete with Asus zenfone 5z which is priced closed... moreIn South East Asia's brand-new pricing:

                              Zenfone 5z 64GB = 492USD
                              Pocophone F1 6/128 = 275USD

I don't think they're comparable at all. Pocophone F1 is now same priced with the brand-new Redmi Note 8 Pro 6/128GB.

I hope they use SD865. Using 855+ in 2020 will take away from Poco.

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2019SD865 is pretty expensive, since it's 2 chips (SoC + Modem)... moresocs have had modem built into it for sometime now. the snapdragon 845 that was on the pocophone f1 had the x20 lte modem. i guess what you are trying to say is that sd865 has a 5g modem.
