KC, 08 Apr 2012Yes, most manufacturing is done in China by all brands thes... morePlease stop this lies! When you say that Nokia doesn't have own manufacturing anymore than that's simply a lie and nothing else. I know the company from the inside and Nokia has factories almost in every continent. Some products are not manufactured inhouse but this is nothing new to the company (it was always like that) and has no negative effect on the products. And when you mention bad build quality of the lumia 900 than that's not TRUE... The product was actually promoted in some tests for its superb buildquality.
I absolutely dont understand your motivation for saying such things

bravo. I've read the comments in here from top to bottom and... Not a good thing was mentioned for the more 'specced' htc titan II. Gsmarena knows what would be the most talked about phone this month and put the picture in the news. But i guess even if they put in there the htc phone it would still be the lumia that would generate all these commmmmmeeeeeennnnnnntttttttttssssss. Plentier than that. Lol. I'm excited to buy one. And an 808 pureview as well..

KC, 08 Apr 2012Yes, most manufacturing is done in China by all brands thes... morethe only constant thing in this world is change. if nokia has laid off many people, it did happend for a reason. above all, nokia is not a charitable institution. they need to cut jobs to cut cost. and ive seen nokia is way better now than before.

AnonD-1312, 08 Apr 2012Firing of employees are part of any company's strategy if r... moreYes, most manufacturing is done in China by all brands these days, and as I said in an earlier post, the reputation of Nokia as being superior in Quality to other phones was literally built on the fact that Nokia had in house production capabilities and state of the art facilities with the most rigorous product testing in the world.

People have been saying that Nokia is better because of this legendary well earned reputation, but the Lumia 900 is not worthy of that praise as it is not of that heritage. Nokia is no longer the company they used to be.

They did more then eliminate redundancies, they cut the very essence of Nokia out of the company. The Lumia 900 scrapped half the wonderful things that made the N9/800 such remarkable products and the final product shows that the attention to detail and the quality of the materials just isn't there on the 900.

It may stand up better to a drop then an iPhone - but that's not saying much - but it's not the kind of product that Nokia COULD have made.

I love Nokia, I've used Nokia phones since I was a teenager, I am half Fin. But what I see them producing now is not what they have shown themselves capable of in the past.

Iphones are the one with cheap materials that is so fragile when you drop it. I dropped my n8 5x face down and it didn't break. youre a talksh*t
