I love LG phones but they really don't understand budget phones. It makes way more sense to buy a secondhand LG G6 like I did or V30 than one of these horrible budget devices. I guess I can judge when CPU/RAM specs come out but not looking good...

      "charge through a microUSB port"
      "dedicated Google Assistant button"

      NO

LG should stop making budget phones, V50 or the G8 are good for their price but their budget phones are a nightmare.

Looks terrible but it will sell in the budget segment well and with older people. I only see old people using LG phones around where I live in England.

Wolffe, 28 Dec 2019It's so...beautiful. I wish every phone on the market would... moreI agree. No chance I will ever purchase a phone with a ridiculous looking notch or punch-hole camera.

Dometalican, 27 Dec 2019That's the phone I'm currently using. It stinks that it doe... moreZTE Axon 7 was great device. Sadly we couldn't get Snapdragon 835/845 device from them(Nokia hasn't much presence in flagship category where One Plus belongs. Nokia software sucks even with regular updates. Their only phones which did well on sales front after returning to Android fraternity are Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 7.1. Reaming everything is trash in my opinion. Sadly Honor has barred from using Google services.). ZTE Axon 10 Pro is value for money device but again Asus 6Z and One Plus 7/7T are better devices in my opinion. ZTE needs to step up on two fronts. Camera and software updates. Software is where One Plus shines and camera is OK too. Asus has stock Android too. Not great with updates but it has decent software and good camera.

It's so...beautiful. I wish every phone on the market would adopt these looks. Notches are hideous and I refuse to buy a phone with one. Hole punches are also bad, especially Samsung's hideous centered punch they've used on the Note 10 series and are about to use on the S11 series. These brands just won't get my money until they start marking attractive phones again.

Amazing how people will complain about a phone that will probably cost $75 and that they'll never buy

It stinks that it doe... moreI've used it too, till recently, and everything was great but the battery life was not that great, although I bought a new battery from MaxxxJuice. And it was getting hot pretty easily, but damn... that phone was great.
Still LG Neon Plus is not that bad, it reminds me a bit of the old times, with 3.5 audio jack and a flat screen and no notches, and if it is priced right it may find his audience.

It stinks that it doesn't have stereo speakers but it has the removable battery, headphone jack with an epic DAC, IR Blaster, and very-bright 2K LCD panel. I really long for a TRUE ZTE Axon 7 or HTC One Max sequel with updated specs. This bezel-less trend is killing me...

It'd better be sold at 50 bucks with such a dated look and (presumably) super low end specs...

microUSB in 2020, seriously LG?! That's the only thing i will "complain" on. However, this phone design is practical without any punch holes / notches etc. And it has everything it needs to be a backup phone.

I've realized one thing over the years. Phones used to be far more practical. They've killed practicality for aesthetics.

                                      What's Practical:

16:9 display for ideal multimedia experience
Small bezels for comfortable holding & stereo speakers
Flat, flawless screens for ideal viewing experience
Polycarbonate or Metallic backs for durability
3.5mm jack for easy music listening experience
                                      Replaceable batteries for consumer's convenience

                                      What's Aesthetical:

                                      Ultrawide displays of weird ratios
Bezel-less screens with uncomfortable phone holding experience & no space for front-facing stereo speakers
Curved displays with obvious flaws (holes or notches).
Glass backs that are prone to breaking upon impact.
Removal of 3.5mm jack because it's the trend. Use USB-C port for both charging & music, so that it will break down sooner OR deal with annoying wireless headphones that you have to charge from time to time.
Fixed batteries, in order to improve water-resistance.

One can't help but wonder if it was the right way to go.
