Of course there are weaknesses seeing this is a first gen product. What now needs to be done is strengthening of the screen via better materials, perhaps also also some sort of protective sleeve case, etc.

The only thing you need to change for an outward to get working is to use UTFG. Take care of your b*lls, there's some elephant in the room.

The person who ever thought folding a phone with the screen on the outside was a good idea should have his b*lls crushed by an elephant and then put in a blender. IF you think folding phones will ever work, IF! Then atleast make it so it has a purpose like folding it to the inside to protect the screen or like a clamshell to protect it and make it smaller when folded.

AnonD-731363, 28 Dec 2019Well the first device opened way to simmilar technology dev... moreOmo if thay cant convince the consumers to buy the first gen product than thay can force them by making foldable only flagship phones, just like thay did it with the curved displays. almosy all OEM's are out of ideas, tweak here and there some features, slap one more camera ans so on. But every new concept needs at least 3 generations to mature, lets hope it's gonna be the same with foldables.

Its like an advertising to a lot more like that one.
And from Huawei i expect they will use the money they have effectively and with efficient.
Creating products and spending on tech which cant create other money or not enough will be a huge mistake.
For some examples like AOL if you born before 90s era you should rememebr this first for of internet messaging.
Same like Microsoft Zune which failed to impress over the Ipod.
Or a Netscape one of the first brownsers. Aroound 1990 about íé% of users had it. 10 years ago it was no more than 1% of people rest used Internet Explorer.
And i really dont need tot alk about google glass.
Or when MySpace failed due to Facebook.
And another big tech which was fail since release the Hoverboards or Note 7 by Samsung.
And so on.
Creating a technology which cant generate or create money enough to survive for a long er period or to impress enough people to continue and evolve develop and improve its precedesors by making the 2-3 etc.
First failed to impress and i dont believe that Mate Xs or Fold 2 will make the difference.
My opinion is the companies just wasting the precious resources for making something which is unstable and with a really bad future.
So my point is? Why to make something which cant success. Until we try we dont know but in most cases one fail makes another even bigger fail.
People will never learn from own mistakes. Not the ones whio have enough mioney to create mistakes every single day without paying attention to possible loses.

Huawei can’t make enough of Mate X to satisfy the Chinese market, so don’t expect to find it anywhere else soon.
Huawei is so advanced Trump has to ban it otherwise Apple will be dead. Shameful.

Cannot wait for this, I wanted the original Mate X soooo badly but it never came to South Africa. Loved the 40W charging in the Mate 20 Pro I had and love it in the P30 Pro I currently have! 65W will be nuts!
