I own two flagship smartphones. One by Samsung and the other by Huawei.
Certain things may be a coincidence but it seems to me that Samsung has been copying Huawei in a few departments like camcorder starts recording when you switch to recording mode something that I don't like but something I saw in older Huawei smartphones before I ever saw it in a Samsung,
There are many more things which I won't get into here. I do rate Samsung for their clipboard feature allowing you to store up to 20 items in memory which also stays in memory when the phone restarts or is powered off. That's a feature missing from every Huawei. LG flagships have it as well though you can only store 10/11 items to the their clipboard which is half of Samsung's capabilities.
I prefer Huawei's tricks of capturing a screenshot by double tapping the screen with your knuckles rather than swiping from right or left with your palm and Huawei's scrolling screenshot is a very nice touch. Something the latest version of Android is now offering...Huawei had it long before now.
There's no perfect phone. You have to give and take but obviously you will prefer one thing from one brand to a next.and vice versa,
However, in regards to the elephant in the room, Samsung coming out with the S20 may be logical from there perspective but it's just too close to Huawei's P20.
All in all though Samsung and Huawei make some of the very best smartphones out there and both of them deserves their current position...number one and number two.

This sounds so cool! And it'll probably have a price to match - $1500, maybe? Maybe in 3 years I'll get S20 with a deep discount, yay!
Nice new naming, though, makes sense. Hope they keep it for a decade and beyond, S20-29 makes sense.

Pabliell, 31 Dec 2019There was no year 0 as far as I know, so the first decade g... moreThe first microsecond into 1st of January is part of year 1. See it as "working on it", as you would be building a Ship -- all parts you build and assemble will come together as one, a bigger something. And the 1st Ship is not complete until the last bolt is screwed in its place. Likewise, the year isn't complete until the last microsecond of 31st Dec is spent. That's how year 1 was formed. And how calendars work.
The current date format means: day/month/current-year (aka 'year we are in the process of filling')
The current decade started the first microsecond we stepped into the year 2010. And will last until the last microsecond of 31st Dec 2019 is spent. Then next decade starts on the first step we take into 2020 -- and lasts until 31st Dec 2029.
Why your logical brain no work mate?

The only way for me to buy a Samsung again , after the laggy S10e is to equip S20 line and all who follow with a Clean version of Vanilla Android , like Oneplus.

Just give it up. Sometimes the world decides to do stuff in an arbitrary manner while defying any logic.

Came to see Huawei fans: Samsung copying Huawei naming but I'm disappointed and btw I think Samsung will use years last two digit for names S20 in 2020 and S21 in 2021 like A and M series
