Yani, 11 Apr 2012Man, I really hate these new giant spaceships err... I mean... morei second yani's comment..it's really excruciating to to carry a fone such as galaxy note as it's not hand-friendly and can be too bulky at times...

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2012S3 is going to be really big, therefore its not fone for me... moreStrangely when iPhones go to 4.7", 4.7" becomes a standard rather than "too big".

Man, I really hate these new giant spaceships err... I mean flagships with their huge 4.6" displays. :(
I really hoped that they would squeeze 4.6" inside a borderless body of SGS2 or better yet 4.2" inside a SGS1 body.
Of course all with no home button!

Home button retention is a fail, a big fail... What is the first thing to break on your iphone out your galaxy handset ?... Home button 99% if the time. 5 columns is no problem though. I already have this on my gs2 thanks to Go Launcherand five rows ttoo. A lot more useful frankly...

why do you want space between the icons...perhaps you are suggesting the icons are to small?

5 columns for a 4.7" screen let almost no space between icons. Seems odd

S3 has upgraded from S2 by far for example the HD resolution which is 2x better than s2 400x800 vs the s3 1280x720 pixels. the prccesor has improved by heaps it now has a QUAD core and s2 had a dual core 1.2 to QUAD 1.5 ghz, the 12mp camera I think they are gonna put in which is also a huge improve ment with a bigger battery but it would affect the high resolution. The bigger screen with may be useful.

Wisaam, 11 Apr 2012what can galaxy S III do that Galaxy S II Can't? i mean buy... moreDude, you're so wrong

Sure it's not that much different, but it's always like that, the phone is improved in all the ways - more powerful hardware, new/improved features, better camera quality, etc. - It's always been like that in phones or anywhere else, except maybe at the time when you also moved from say symbian to android, at that time it was a hop, though the camera's on Android phones were a regress... The user interface is changed a little every time, the deseign will probably be slighly different.
And to your: "it will take 2 years to have applications SII can't Run" I can say that phones come in generations, and those are yearly, so there will be very soon new game releases which will use the power of the SIII generation and SII will probably run buggy. It's been like that with Galaxy S, you could run the newsest games, but they didn't run as smooth as SII.

Other than that, in a way you are right. The industry is pushing out products that we don't need that much. Buying a phone every year? Many people do that, but when you think about it, you could invest that money somewhere else, but that's how they drive todays industry and we are under influence and we buy. They make new phone model every year, then the appropriate set of games and applications come which make you buy the newest phone, to run or get the max out of your applications. True, sometimes they have to slow down or speed up, depending on various factors.

what can galaxy S III do that Galaxy S II Can't? i mean buying S III exactly the same buying S II again. Same user interface same applications, it will take 2 years to have applications SII can't Run. at that time you will find galaxy S V in the market.

Its a valid point but the reason i bought 4S even when i had iphone4 was the camera upgrade + dual core.
For SGII vs SGIII i see one and one 1 reason to upgrade and that is the HD resolution sine SGII has to little resolution for that big screen (in my opinion).
Otherwise i think SGII is really good as is. Battery can always be better i guess :)

I don't understand why it is only Samsung who are capable of making android phones whi which perform so well with the hardware. The sgs2 is still a class apart of most phones
