Samsung reveals the European prices and availability for the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71

03 January 2020
The prices are for the Netherlands specifically, but the rest of the continent should be looking at similar price tags (give or take a few euro).

Look, it's more brutally overpriced plastic bricks from Samsung!
You can get the X2 Pro (Global) with 8/128GB for 400€ already, and it will stomp the A71 into the ground with the greatest of ease!
Why would any sane person want to pay 70€ more for a mediocre plastic brick that's much worse?

Or if you don't like Xiaomi, take the One Plus 7 with 8/256GB, which you can have for 470€ here in Germany, same price that Samsung wants for their A71 plastic junk! Also the OP 7 will stomp the A71 into the ground with the greatest of ease.

The whole A/M series are just a bunch of highly overpriced phones with disappoiting specs.
Only S/Note worth paying money... but after the discount-party.

with a 100 euros more you can buy the oneplus 7 pro or buy the s10e and have some change instead that shitty a71. they are just like appel but in "midrange" phone category.

MI and Oppo and their spinoff brands are going to eat their lunch this year. HMDNOKIA is also falling behind really quick. Curious to see what ASUS and Meizu come up with.

It's pretty clear why they are losing in the midrange market against the chinese. They skimp on everything like speakers and sensors. Plastic would be ok if it was matte, not glossy and slippery. The price is just insult to injury aswell.

Xiaomi is laughing its ass off right now, Redmi Note 8 Pro is only €230 lol

Realme X2 is €300 and has 8GB of RAM, X2 Pro is cheaper than the A71

Sammy A series are just like Apple products, overpriced junk people keep buying

Great phones. But for that price soc is to slow, others offer sd 855+ for 400€ in Europe, like Realme x2 pro with 90hz display.

The pricing for A50 and A70 was good, but the specs for A51 and A71 are not worth the price hike.

WTF Are this prices, here A51 is 290€ while A50 is 250€

I will agree that I dont undertand this pricing. A50s is literally the same thing as the A51, except the punch hole thing.

Pathetic pricing and worst glastik build. Where is early A series build ? Seriously Sammy, Not even metal frame and you still charge same ? Fooling around with colors and punch hole ? your UI always it looks like piled up junk in notification center and then try to clear and then some other app misbehaves, One UI 1.5 and what more u have in 2.0 One UI ? You need 20GB Ram to run One UI ? My A50 and A51 are just piece of toys cant be reliable anymore. Thanks but keep your innovation offshore.
