The life of any man, nation, company is either like a sine or cosine curve. It either starts @ d troughs or d peaks but over time it reverses. Nokia is probably in d troughs now but will surely come back to d peak. I love Samsung, bought @least 3 of their phones in d past & presently had 2 led TVs made by them & other products & wish them all well.
Guys don't fight over them, let them compete, innovate & bring more superb products for us all @affordable price & we'll all be winners.

I updated my 701 to Belle FP1. But now am unable to open contacts, its going on saying checking contacts. Not even allowing to copy SIM numbers to phone. Anyone has any idea on this issue. ( i updated by OTA method).

yeah, even if the 1st gen symbian^3 get this update, their processor won't have any changes. the increase in processor speed in the 700 and 701, and probably 603, is because they were shipped with 1.3 ghz processor but are clocked at 1ghz because of software limitations.

dear all and nokia in particular
ive been using the c7 for last more then a year and recently switched to galaxy note. before switching i updated the c7 to belle. i loved my c7 till i had used the note. but now with both in direct comparison i realize what ive been missing all along. in itself the c7 or any other belle running nokia is a good phone but when u compare the two there is only one winner and the major difference is in the OS and the application support it has.

Sammy is at peak now, due to Android. So wait until WP became a matured OS. Maybe it in WP8 or WP9, then u will see, once again Nokia will rocks.

on the other hand, power consumption seems to increase with the new processor speed. hardly noticeable but yeah.

The update for 701 is just super but one thing I am mad aboit is that the calender view has been changed.
You cant have week overview anymore. Just month, day and agenda.
It is a phone for gods sake, not a 26 inch screen computer, you must have week view. Come on Nokia, fix this.
