I would rather say that the adidas trainsers are a CNY special edition like from every year rather than an indicator for an announcement on that date?

HMD still has a chance to gain a portion of market share if they get their strategy right cause many people are still holding on to faint hope of real Nokia revival and if they launch Nokia 9.2 with great and versatile camera with wide and telephoto lens instead of a million b&w ones imo ideal setul would normal(big and quad bayer sensor)+wide+telephoto (3x atleast)+2b&w(also big sensors) and ToF camera and with excellent processing it csn be a camera beast and price it around $700

Give it functionality and people will buy them as companion devices. So far they've all been fancy burner phones and the novelty wears off quickly. I'd like to see USB-C, 4G hotspot capability, NFC (for contactless payment mostly) and maybe support for Uber. Things like this give me confidence to actually use the phone instead of just letting it sit in the glovebox.

              beautiful

[deleted post]I didn't even catch that, I did see the name but in a glance i seemed 8800, you've got a keen observation.

Don't forget the 2520 clam-shell. And whatever Nokia is planning for this year, please make it in METAL!!!

The phone is a real beast, it's the best I've seen in a long time, the performance, the camera, its Kirin 990, its 8 GB of ram, its 4500 mAh battery with 40W charge, a screen and some amazing graphics.

HMD, year after year they keep on disrespecting Nokia's name with useless, outdated and overpriced phones.

The most usable would be a remake of the Eseries (with a QWERTY keyboard). Nseries, Xseries (has to be music-dedicated).

For specific models - N95, 7650, N8, 808, 920 and more. Smartphones are unlikely though. Maybe the 8910 would be nice.

The only good about their devices are update support and good build quality

N93 as flagship would be great, like foldable with one however multi-aperture camera.

One day, I would like to see HMD Nokia doing a modern day Android One recreation of the N93 and N93i. That screen which can flip 90 degrees really sold me!

I also love to see a modern day Android One recreation of the 3250. Twist for media player keys? Heck yes!

Kissio, 04 Jan 2020It's obvious that Nokia is interested in the mid-range mark... moreIt seems that Nokia has the potential to grow and offer premium quality phones but they are afraid and they go slowly. I guess the budget is not so big like at Samsung or Apple.

Can you actually install the google services separately ? I heard that some application don't even run properly and other google services , like the gmail, won't run at all.
Huawei phones have an amazing premium quality to them, the camera is a beast.
Too bad that it's not easy for the company to sell as much. They became too famous, too quickly and apple didn't like that. They used the bullsh*t reason that China is performing espionage but Facebook and Instangram and Google do the same, with facebook apologizing on selling user-data to other companies.

I am still using the Nokia 3310 2017 for my work since June 2017, and the batterylife is incredible.

It's obvious that Nokia is interested in the mid-range market because the premium market has it totally lost in favor of Samsung, Apple or Huawei.
In fact, I was going to be a potential buyer of the new Nokia 9.2 Pureview but seeing again the continuous delays and the little information that HMD shows, I have decided on a Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G that is the best Android ever made, with all Google Services installed by me and with an amazing Leica camera and a beastly running.
