    If u still wasnt aware, Dark Mode using pitch black to saves more battery on OLED screen phone along with the minimalistic look. Thats why on Android 10 its start implementing it system-wide.

    At first glance, i though something wrong with my eye with Sony takes on Dark Mode. After some complains emerge, it is indeed Bluish dark grey instead of pitch black. Confusing & scratching my head. What was Sony's thinking?

If it's Dark Grey or anything, the pixels are still activated thus wasting more battery. If it's all black, the pixels are totally turned off meaning more battery endurance. Dark Mode exists only to save battery first, ease eyesores second.

        but no. update news for xperia xz1 snapdragon 835

I need to try at least three times before it works. Like, how is it even possible to mess up? Sigh, Sony. And they didn't even change the camera interface similar to the one in Xperia 1. Disappointed.

              I like to see how the XZ2 Premium battery will perform with the new update, considering that it has a true 4K screen.

                Anyway.. my cheap Realme phone has the option.
                Maybe you should consider about switching to other brands..

                    You shouldn't buy xperia if you are looking for great ui features.
                    Xperia is designed for people who don't care about ui.

                        FYI : there is an updated also for nokia 6.1 plus at middle East region. Android 10 (V4.10C)

                              ...right into your face.
                              Camera will not work anymore nor does the screenshot!
                              In the meantime the problem is solved clear the media storage.

                                      This update seems rushed and unfinished, no android 9 or 10 gesture navigation? Really..really Sony? You even removed the pill navigation from android 9, i was waiting to test the new navigation but now my phone looks like my old Z5..it has the same launcher. Disappointing update...XZ2 Premium here

                                        That's great news, but the syestem-wide dark mode doesn't include neither Google app nor Phone app on my XZ2 compact.
