amazing, finnally a pretty good looking wifi samsung phone
and yeah, why do people compare to iphone, its massively overrated, and isnt even that great, not offering enough for the money payed,
But the only thing I worry about this phone, is battery life,
Just like most nokia models, samsungs battery sucks, ive had a few samsung phones in the past, including the a phone from the d600,
it was such a good phone esspecially for its time, only issue was quite a short battery life, and many other samsungs with low battery,
Otherwise, this phone looks like its got it all for the people who prefer touch screen

This phone is a great move by samsung because there is a huge stupid market that will buy the f490 so this will be like a all in one which will atract a lot of people. great marketing move and smart choice.

After 1000000 years, Samsung rocking on high-end Win Mobile Pocket PC.
I don't care about camera.
What about GPS, hardware GPU & onboard sound?
Also, the bad thing about Samsung is: SAMSUNG DEVELOPS GARBAGE QUALITY PRODUCTS, SPECCIALLY CELL PHONES & PDA PHONES.

A dealbreaker if this doesnt include autofocus n Xenon flash with lens cover. I luv my N82, but can use this as backup just to play wid Windows Mobile. Shud overtake Viewty but UI mite not match iPhone yet just cuz of touchscreen. Who cares abot an iPhone killer! Dat doesnt say much. N95 killer says more.

kills iphone and n95 at the same time! probably the best phone in the world. hopefully this is my next phone if it comes out before june

in this day and age, you would think all gsm phones would be quadband due to globalization. unfortunately samsung and lg are too stupid to realize this. they should fire the person responsible for making their phones triband and hire me, and i would work for half-pay. and for the record i am in favor of this being quadband.

If thet can and will do it, and now DO NOT FORGET AUTOFOCUS: SUPER !
If they look at LG's Viewtry and therefore add a better videocapability than all other Samsungs uptill now, they will have/be the detrown in 2008 both Nokia N95 and the iPhone and be the new King.
