Well as far as i know Sony they will try everything and see whether they can be succesfull or not.
Sony Bravia makes greats TVs. Sony Mobile division is not so great to be honest. Offering plenty of mostly useless features at apple price is not good.
And Sony Vaio their laptop division blew like Note 7 by Samsung.

Could also make design of that car more exciting at least...feels very conservative.

This is Sony entering in the car automation business, I don't think they want to produce that car just sell sensors and cameras modules for any car brand, that business alone could the most profitable of Sony's.

???, 07 Jan 2020Haha can't wait to see the priceDid you read the article? Sony confirmed they'll never bring this car to production. Sony only did this to show off the sensors, audio and more. The car is made by one of the designers from Jaguar.
I wish Faraday, Tesla, Fisker and other car companies that offer electric and high tech vehicles adopt this tech.
