The world will witness the awesomeness of Samsung, Samsung lost interest in WP7 because it had minimum hardware requirements, obviously it would be a loss to a huge company with great reputation. We are waiting for Microsoft to make its move..

I am interested to know more about WP8, protoype is very appealing.

Samsung for that matter interests me with WP devices, as they sell them for a cheaper price than competitors.

This is a benefit to the buyer.

Thought the rate of development of Symbian was so slow, basically the reason why Nokia decided to kill their homegrown OS. Windows Phone isn't any faster either. Whatever the criticisms about Symbian are, they should've kept it and gone on with its development. Because they totally have no control over Windows Phone and they will have to wait ages for it to mature before they can make competitive devices again.

If MS want WP to become a leading platform, they should:

                      - Enable bluetooth transfer of files
                      - enable real multitasking
                      - allow interface customization
                      - Enable Mass storage mode
                      - DivX / XviD support
                      - Enable Flash support in browser

If they do these 6 things, I'm sure WP can become better Android and iOS. All above is based on my experience as a phone dealer.

Very interesting..............I made a comment on the Nokia 610nfc news and this is a conjunction to the comment made.
Samsung, HTC, LG and the others will be faced with the task of reanalyzing their approach to WP8.
Samsung realise that Android OS actually cripple their WP7 phones so they took a back seat approach with MS.
Nokia has created a whole new game joining MS and has giving WP7 a lift and WP8 great anticipation.
Samsung now find themselves with their backs against the wall and their greatest competitor (NOKIA)has created a storm entering MS with their innovations, loyalties (user base) and expertise making WP OS a new experience.
In the end, the consumer will have the last say with their purchase.
