I think its best to allow for optional slow charging just like the Samsung phone does. No oneplus user charges their phones overnight.

Oxygen OS is now playing catchup to MIUI, zen UI, color OS and others when it comes to new features.

Nothing new. Sony had it back in 2016. Now on Sony you can set time when you want to start and end battery care with 100% battery juice. Well, this should be standard feature already

This feature has been copied from Asus 5z. I had raised the same in One plus community app that this feature should be introduced in One plus.

Funny how people scream battery degeneration with quick charging while ironically they slow charge their phones to full 100% which increases the voltage and speeds up the ageing
And they think the are doing the right thing the whole time
When they could just get a quick charger and watch it charge to 80% in real time while the are AWAKE and make the battery last much longer

Well, because li-po/ li-ion life cycle will quickly burnouts if you charge it to 100% multiple times in a night.
