Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 to pack Snapdragon 855 and a 10MP selfie camera

08 January 2020
It kind of makes sense, considering the whole situation with the Snapdragon 865 and its lack of an internal modem.

Well these half folds look good then those Big folds.
At first round with 21:9 display Moto has stealed the show by its looks where in here's Samsung showcasing speed n flagship camera with fold. So 2020 is all about Moto vs Samsung remeber guys if this concepts sold at $900/1100 ppl will jump as this concept seems user friendly.

For clamshell design a narrower and longer aspect ratio is better so Samsung needs to improve this and I hope clamshell is a different series than Book Fold

I'm more interested with that dual camera setup on outside the phone. I wonder what setup will be, a wide/ultrawide or wide/telephoto or wide/some useless depth or macro camera.

to this phone look more attractive from front and back samsung needs to bring in the new innovation of one plus to hide the camera to give it a clean look. With this foldable phones now they must achieve high grade in display tech of all kinds to give this line up a new boost. Hoping this year again they do not fail at first for a 2nd silent launch. Beside it is not a phone for all till now just a showpiece and extremely expensive item to collect and use.

If only the new Motorola Razr had the specs of this phone because it definitely looks better than this phone.

Seems like a good move to bring the price within mass marker foldable phone reach. Samsung needs to tweak the 10MP camera though, to improve performance and field of view.

One had to remember that this could be way cheaper than almost any other folding phone in the market, with some serious flagship hardware and software. The Razr 2019 was a wasted opportunity, and the only thing they got right, was the inwards folding screen mechanism. The Huawei X wasn't exactly a runaway success either, with no mainstream youtuber and nobody out of China even allowed to actually review it. People were only given a few minutes, under strict observation with the devices at a few trade shows.and considering that it folds outwards, it is certain that the majority of the Huawei X phones have already been badly scratched or damaged, due to the extremely fragile outer fold.

I have a feeling S20 is the Fold,
whereas the regular Galaxy will be S11.

                        "S20 4G"
This sounds like an Exynos-only model then, considering SD865's bundle with the X55?

Got to say it feels cheap without cameras in all 3 fov's.

wow, 10 whopping MP in a super beautiful very tiny punchhole

Snapdragon 855 is still faster than any midrange processor,so with this they manage to keep the phone under 1000$ and still give us enough performance as there's nothing the 855 can't handle.
                              It's a win tbh

Samsung decided to launch just the Galaxy Fold. Then Motorola showed their prototype RAZR, and Samsung probably said "oh yeah, think you're the first? Bring it on." So now Samsung decided to release this as well.

Looks like they have suffered the same situation as the Nokia 9 PureView. Both take very long and both utilize the processor at the time and once the new SoC is released, they have no time to redevelop the motherboard to accommodate the new SoC.

And the 2019 Moto RAZR turns obsolete before it is launched.
